Based in Brisbane, The Small Garden is a Landscape Design Business led by Tom and Carolynn who are on a mission to rejuvenate city homes and workplaces.

With every small balcony, entrance or indoor courtyard they transform, they prove that you don’t need vast amounts of land to have your own garden. With more than 15 years reimagining green spaces, drawing ideas from around the globe and from their past lives in art and marketing, they bring style and practicality, having brought to life some truly remarkable spaces.

As Nature lovers, Tom and Carolynn are advocates for Biophilic design, an approach that integrates elements of the natural world into the built environment to create spaces that improve human health, well-being, and productivity. It goes beyond simply adding plants and involves incorporating direct experiences of nature, such as natural light, ventilation, and water, as well as indirect experiences like using natural materials, patterns, and colors that mimic nature.

As clients, the team at The Small Garden are always a pleasure to work with and the projects never disappoint - Perhaps its Biophilic design working its magic.

Our recent collaboration seen us complete a series of visuals based off a completed project. Three final static renders were produced capturing the standout areas of the design scheme with a composition that also showcased the striking architecture of the home.

From these static images we then produced a collection of curated vignettes made dynamic and optimised for future marketing collateral.

With only a couple of revisions needed, we worked closely with both Tom and Carolynn to ensure accuracy and efficiency in project delivery, producing a great outcome that will continue to pay dividends.
